Let's Create Some Content!

The Community Influencer Program gives teens hands-on experience in media, storytelling, and community engagement. Participants learn how to operate cameras, film and edit video content, and create social media posts that reflect real trends and audience interests.

Teens go beyond the classroom by interviewing local businesses, highlighting community stories, and producing content that showcases what’s happening across South Central Texas. As social media ambassadors for the Boys & Girls Clubs, they help promote programs, events, and opportunities that impact their peers and families.

Through this experience, participants build confidence on and off camera, develop professional and creative skills, and learn how to use their voice to make a positive impact in their community.

Program Schedule

Starting June 1st, Tuesday and Friday afternoons will be dedicated programming days for The Community Influencer Program! Influencers will be able to meet up and explore content creation together with the guidance of the program coordinator at our Lockhart Office. Wednesday's will be dedicated for all surrounding communities, in which the program will be coming near you! To learn what Wednesday this summer we'll be in your community, feel free to reach out to us by visiting our "Contact" section and we will provide you with a schedule.
